tried on some clothes this afternoon-just to see what I had for summer clothes etc and do I really need to buy anythng(answer to that is pretty much nope dont NEED anything beat that won't stop me buying)-anyway back to reason for post pulled out my old size 30 pants I use to wear(and they were a tight fit seams stretched to the limit) what a sight. I got the ruler out there was 6inches gap between me and the band of pants I didnt try but think I could nearly get both legs in one I had to hitch them up to walk as they were far to long. I got in car and went reound to show Mum and Dad (Mum took a photo I was going to get hubby to take one on digital camera when I got back but didnt) they were very chuffed and lots of positive talk. Came back home hubby by this time was up and his comment was 'what are we going to do with the dehumidifier' we had leant it to a friend and they had returned it thru the afternoon there was clothes all over the lounge from me trying on stuff so I started putting them away either back into the to small crate, some to bring to P/N or in the summer pile...do you think 7prs of white 3/4 pants will be enough to get me thru the summer....why have you got all those clothes out was what I was asked. Also have some that fit me NOW nothing exciting some jammies I bought couple years ago and a nightie I bought in Aussie and just stuff I have had in the crate soon I am going to have an empty crate and no to small clothes. I was so pissed at husband lack of responce to my big baggy size 30 pants I didnt get him to take a photo...will get Sharon to take one tomorrow.

Hair appointment for colour and foils...happy hour tom night but do I want to go not sure hubby's day off so will see how I feel by time I go to hair dressers but would be nice to go out all flashed up.

Bought some kilo hand weights yesterday so did 20mins this afternoon.

Went to surgeon yesterday about knee have to go to christchurch for an MRI scan talking chopping open hmmm not what I wanted to hear I can tell u. Meant to ask him if I should hold off the yoga, fit ball, aqua fit, walking, cycling etc so must phone tomorrow.

Mum got her appointment for her knee surgery...14th Aug...not a good date when we are having a 70th bth day on the 18th so I rung today and they have changed her date to 26th I think it was. Cant have the guest of honour out of action.

Hubby wants the computer so best sign off.

Sun has gone nigh nights

10 2 5 Sunday afternoon and sun has just gone behind the mountains-it has been a glorious day. Blue sky sunshine and just gorgeous. Went for a 30min walk and did shit loads of washing.

Thursday went to Timaru to see the surgeon and he was very good and more than happy to do my op wants a few more kilos off for healthy body reasons so good bye 20k and I'll be back I said book me in for 12mths I'll be seeing him then. Bought a new kettle doesnt sound exciting but I am thrilled one from Briscoes like was $99 gor it for $40 also got new walking shoes from warehouse these are just around town ones keep my $300 ones for big events etc and of course the billions of bags of groceries bugger all veges will be frozen for a while me thinks.$17 for courgettes bugger that.

Friday worked all day then out with girls-I had planned a party night but went over the top and oh was I a sick puppy Saturday. Was suppose to drive to Ashburton sat for duathlon but it didnt happen I spent most of day in bed with bucket...need I say more. Swarn off booze well till next time anyway. Spend this morning doing all the chores that I should have done yesterday...got them done so guess all was not lost.

I have found the CD I have been after on Amazon has anyone bought of this site and what ya think??? Trouble is they have so many luverly lullaby CD's which to get.

No work this week (yet) but got another trip to Timaru on Wednesday about my knee so hope he can come up with an answer...I tell you after Fri night dancing it was bloody sore yesterday and about 3k into walk this arvo it was biting, have a heat pak on it now.

right best get tea started hubby will be home soon...want him to rehang the drapes in laundry before it gets dark and the light bulb blew in there last night..had frozen pipes in laundry on Friday and Saturday but doesnt appear to be any leaks thank goodness and water flowing again now.

howdy folks do any of you live in Stokes Valley(I havent got a clue where it is) have an auction closing there pickup...pooh bear things for on baby's bedroom wall. I wondered if anyone lived there and was coming to the 'party' in P/N I could be so bold and ask then to pick up auction for me..Cheeky bitch hey!!!!

-8 and this silly fool was out walking only did 30 mins but felt good and I am proud of myself for not letting the weather win.

Have some magpies out here fighting the poor things are cold and hungrey but hate them al the same...I only put out seed for the little birds the maggies doesnt go for it.

Picked up a full day work for Friday so that is good will be more dollars for P/N...the things I sold on trademe has sorta got lots in things I have bought sat up till 1am pushing buttons my watch list is about to explode it is so full heheheh...doesnt mean I'll buy all wat I have on the list though...Chris wat is your trademe name might have somehting I just HAVE TO HAVE

Hmmm weekend self challenge didnt go thru as planned

got thru Friday night good as gold no wine but had a cupple wines Sat night oh well

Birthday party went well-I piked a bit and didnt go till 3.15 so party food had been pretty manhandled so no problem there and parents were starting to pick up the little noise machines I left at 4.15 went for a 40 min walk, by time I got home it was starting to get cooler as soon as sun went down.

Shopping in Timaru on Thursday and hospital at 11 so leave at 8 hope roads wont be too icey. Then Sat off to Ashburton for the night duathlon Sunday...then Timaru again on Tuesday for my knee couldnt change either appointment to other days one was travelling from Chch the other doesnt have clinics on a Thursday hate travelling on roads this time of year and have 3 trips in 5 flippen days...oh well it will be slow ride each time, had thought of going thru to Chch on Sunday and back to Timaru tues would be bettter roads will see what Mum thinks she will be coming Sat with me.

Couple of sales on trade me so few pennies to spend in Palm Nth...mind you then when I think about it I have probably spent as much on trade me as I have sold hehehe.

I had a roast of lamb for tea it was yummo bugger the scales..mind you cooked it in water so can't see that it was so bad.

Elaine is feeling tired and has a slight cold she is over being pregnant...30 sleeps to go...so any time now!!!

Was great having a natter-I thought she finished work last week thought shed be missing company but actually she doesnt finsih till this week. I sent a parcel of baby gear over with a friend that Anthony picked up earlier in week but he hadnt told E that he had got it she came across it last night and thought she was loosing her marbles that she has more baby stuff than she thought think she was releaved to know I had just sent it. Got off the phone checking cheap tickets to Syd in October we talked about that being a good time to visit.

Hubby and I are going out for lunch tomorrow will be nice.

I am not going out after work tomorrow IAM NOT GOING TO DRINK WINE ON WEEKEND!!

I have a five year olds birthday to go to on Saturday won't that be fun-30 screaming kids hope it fine so they can play out side.

De-cluttered the recipe draw this morning. Threw out 5 copies of the lollie cake recipe...not sure why ya need 5 copies and if I was ever gonna make it again which I am not likely to as we dont eat that sorrta stuff no more the recipe is on the fruit puff pack. Fudge and coconut ice recipes...pages pulled out of magazine never looked at again. recipes written in my grandma's hand ( she has been gone for over 20yrs) warranties for stuff that broke down years ago...sales dockets for a set of pots I bought in 1998 they have been long gone got a supermarket bag jammed full of more crap..gone gone gone. Then I went to the wardrobe have a suitcase full of clothes to bring up to P/N for the swap at this rate I won't have room for any clothes to wear. Might have to visit Ezibuy and Jocelyns straight of the plane...was gutted to get a notice in mail yesterday to say Jocelyns(Feilding) sale starts on Fri 13th

Was so cold on Sat the washing machine spluttered cause pipes were frozen was -12 according to the locals BRING ON SUMMER-but dont remind me I said this when I am grumbling in Feb that it is so hot.
We had planned on going to Timaru on Sat for groceries and himself was going to a train show but roads were just so icey so Friday arvo I made the dession to flagg that trip-why be on the road when you just don't have to be.
The mind is playing tricks on me lately-am having trouble lately seeing any loss of weight...feeling like a fat frump think I need a holiday...oh yeah I am gonna get one in August yeh

Been TRYING to de-clutter my house. I have to throw out at least one item each day-today was make up I bought like at least 20 yrs ago might have been 25, out it went.

I'm booked for Palmerston North. Air NZ didnt oblidge with cheap seats infact I ended up having to go 20 dollars more than yesterday because all the $109 were gone but huh I don't care...I have been working a lot lately so have a little extra dollars.

Suppose to go to the doc this morning to get leg looked at it is okish and I only changed the dressing yesterday so will give it a miss and change to Monday...dont really want to got out in this icky weather twice-start work at 2 stay home in the warm I say.


I have decided digital scales suck-got on mine this morning and they changed weights the 3 times I got on can't loose 1.4k in one wee stop on toilet...might invest in the old fashion dial ones again now I can use them...when I was 150 dail scales only go to 120(unless u pay BIG dollars) so now under 120 could do the dial thing...will see...think maybe mine have had some pretty heavy weights on them and beggered them too.

rigth now I am off to check out the new spring EZIBUY catalouge online see wat I can buy in P/N did I tell you I am coming to P/N yipppeee

an infection in the op on my leg so I'm on antibiotics and keep off it as best ya can...easy for them to say. Throbbing a bit as we speak.

got my backorder from ezybuy I have got to tell you the bestest knickers made, comfy and they suck the bits in...a bit high cut but great all the same and to top it off a size 20 wow maybe this weight loss thing is working afterall....to think I use to have to make my own balloon size knickers cause couldnt get bought ones to fit...yipppeee. I have had them on all day and still feel great. Pity they only come in black and white. Style Number: 19866 at regular price they are a bit expencive but the special price makes them $7.50 each and good price...but I am telling you if you all buy them out of size 18 when I go to get more there will be trouble.

More rain this afternoon got dripping wet working to work sort of got my challenge walk in a 15min and 3 10min walks so did the 30 mins in a round about way....still haven't broken the 'no night nibbles' challenge so going good there been couple weeks now. Last night I spilt the raisins while putting hubbies lunch together and pick up to put in my mouth but nope stopped in time and put them back in the packet. another proud me moment.

Got the results from SBS marathon in todays mail and I wasnt last wow at least 10 others finished after me and that was with a crook knee....I am so chuffed with me other 10k walks I've done I have been next to last crossing the finish line.

oh did I tell you my fit ball arrived (the core secret) so far I havent even blown it up but watching the DVD that came with it it looked great...if only just watching could work off the pounds...of course I could be doing some now couldnt I. nah bed I think.
